Who we're looking for
We seek certified cybersecurity trainers who are native Spanish speakers to join our team on an on-call basis. In this role, you will remotely deliver customer-tailored training programs to diverse audiences and facilitate support groups for cybercrime victims. You will provide context and insights on different types of cybercrime, such as identity theft, account security, social media privacy and security settings, and remediation steps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
Job location
You can work remotely from anywhere as long as you have a reliable Internet connection and a professional background and setting.
Type of contract
This is an on-call contract position. You must be self-employed or have a registered company.
Responsibilities and Requirements
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, customized training programs on cybersecurity topics.
- Facilitate support group sessions for victims of cybercrime, providing education and resources.
- Simplify complex cybersecurity concepts for non-technical audiences while providing depth for technical learners.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor training accordingly.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
- Provide actionable insights and resources to help participants implement secure practices.
- Be open to receiving feedback, providing feedback, and suggesting improvements where needed. Success is a two-way road: let’s make it right together!
Requirements
- Native Spanish speaker with good English
- Certified cybersecurity professional (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in delivering cybersecurity training to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and relatable approach.
- Ability to adapt training content to suit technical and non-technical participants.
- Familiarity with challenges faced by cybercrime victims is a strong asset.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable remote work setup, including a secure video communication platform (i.e., Teams, Zoom, Webex).
Preferred qualifications
- Experience facilitating support groups or workshops.
- Background in psychology, finance, law enforcement, or social work is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing position is a plus.
- Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity technologies and threat landscapes.
